FISHHAWK SOCCER IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE ITS AFFILIATION WITH FYSA! Romildo Sanches, President of newly created Fish Hawk Soccer announces that the club has received certification from Florida Youth Soccer Association. FYSA is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to fostering the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of Florida's youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition. The organization establishes rules and bylaws for member clubs, a code of conduct and training for coaches, players and referees. As President of Fish Hawk Soccer, Romildo will have a vote on changes to FYSA rules and by-laws. "Participation in FYSA will enable Fish Hawk Soccer to have access to a broad array of training resources as well as provide an avenue for competitive teams to play in sanctioned tournaments statewide," says volunteer coach and Fish Hawk ranch resident George Pardo." FISHHAWK FALL SOCCER. REGISTRATION DEAD LINE SEPTEMBER 13TH, 2008! Due to a huge interest of Football players in soccer, FishHawk soccer club has changed its Fall program to November 8th, 2008 to January 24th, 2009. Fall soccer Registration will be held at FishHawk soccer complex September 13th, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Registration is also available online! FISHHAWK SOCCER TO HOST REFEREE CLASS! Referee class at FishHawk will be on Saturday August 30th, 2008, starting at 8:00 AM. The total fee for the program is $102.00 and you can enroll online by clicking on the www.fsr-inc.com/Welcome.aspx Please, make sure to enroll as grade 9. Once you complete the 8 hours requirement, you will be award with a Florida State Referee badge. Complete set of referee kit will be available for sale at the site. FISHHAWK PROFESSIONAL SOCCER ACADEMY! To learn more about the academy, click on program! FISHHAWK SPORTS COMPLEX GRAND OPENING WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! Soccer was very welcomed among residents to FishHawk. Soccer parents were very excited about having the sport on their back yard. " We can finally play near our home for our home games" said one of the parent who had to drive over 30 minutes whenever his child would have a home game at Valrico. The ceremony took place at 9:00 AM with county commissioners inaugurated the facility. Then Sky divers jumped and landed on the new fields. Conor McCafferty, represented FishHawk soccer. He trapped the ball passed by commissioner Jim Norman. Conor then presented commissioner Norman with club T-shirt. WELCOME TO FISHHAWK SOCCER CLUB! Scott Powers names Romildo Sanches as FishHawk Soccer President! For the past few months, Romildo Sanches and Scott Powers, president of Fish Hawk Sports Association, have been talking about bring soccer into FishHawk area. According to Mr. Powers, Romildo was chosen due to his experience in starting an soccer organization from scratch and make it successful. Paid position: REFEREE: Male and Female ages 12 and older. Must complete mandatory 9 hours class. Volunteer Positions SOCCER COACH: Male or Female 18 and older. This is without a doubt the most rewarding position. You will learn from the kids as much as they will be learning from you. It requires a minimum of 12 hours of courses by Florida Youth Soccer Association and 4 hours of courses by Hillsborough county Park and rec. FIELD MARSHAL: Male or Female 21 and older. Position requires being on the field and for minimum of 4 hours on games days, direction people to fields where they are schedule to play.
